Mudryk opens up on becoming Chelsea player
Chelsea have completed the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal that is worth a €100m package including adds on.
Mudryk signed a deal that will keep him at the London side until 2030.
The Ukrainian had earlier completed all the medical tests in the morning after flying to London on Saturday night.
The 22-year old forward while speaking to club website after the consummation of his deal said he is happy to team up with the London side.
“I’m so happy to sign for Chelsea. This is a huge club, in a fantastic league and it is a very attractive project for me at this stage of my career.
“I’m excited to meet my new team-mates and I’m looking forward to working and learning under Graham Potter and his staff.”
The signing was a big loss to Arsenal who have been pursuing Mudryk but lost out due to their unwillingness to pay the price tag.
