Mother of Three, Bites, Assaults 4 year-old Niece With Hot Knife
One Monsurat Olusanya, a 35-year-old mother of three, has been rounded up by policemen in Ogun state for afflicting her 4-year-old niece, Fathia Ogundimu with multiple injuries.
Her arreste came after a resident of Tiluwalase community, in Owode Ijako, lodge a complaint at the Sango Police Division.
The concerned resident, who came with the girl to the police division, filed the case on October 18.
The neighbour appealed the police to safeguard the little girl from the series physical assault she had been subjected to.
It was reported that Olusanya had in her latest assail, used a hot knife to inflict multiple injuries on her niece.
Not satisfied, the suspect bit the little girl’s stomach and lips.
On questioning, Olusanya confessed to having assaulted her niece but pleaded with the police to show clemency on her because as she said, it was devil’s handiwork.
The victim, Fathia, has been taken to hospital for medical care.
The suspect is at present being detained at Aango division while the biological parent of the victim has been apprised to come and take custody of their daughter.
