Men of Operation Haderin Daji, a unit of the Nigeria Military, on Thursday revealed that the troops championed a fighting patrol at the enclave of bandits’ and killed two terrorists while others ran away with various degrees of injuries.
The Informant247 learnt that the offensive happened at Doka village, Gando Forest, in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The Director of the Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami, in a press statement, revealed that during the patrol, the security agents had encounter with bandits and got involved in a fire for fire operation.
The Director of the Defence Media Operations said that during the operation, one of the terrorists who lost their lives was identified as Mr Ibrahim Chire, who’s also known as a notorious bandits’ leader popular for intimidating Gwashi, Gando, Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Area of the State.
He said that the security agents recovered from the terrorists 4 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, one AK-47, mobile phones, one motorcycle among others.
He revealed that the military high command appreciated the troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI and implored the members of the public to communicate the troops with right and timely information on criminal activities.
