World soccer governing body, FIFA has announced nominees for all categories of its annual awards on Thursday.
The awards ceremony, which will take place on February 27 will recognise the outstanding players and officials from 2022 across several categories.
Headlining the ceremony is the Best FIFA Men’s Player prize with top players like
Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema leading others for the award which has a 14-strong list of nominees.
Other categories of award will also involve Best Coaches in men and women football alongside nest goalkeepers in both categories.
The voting process will involve international captains and coaches, journalists, and fans selecting their winners in the various categories.
While the voting is billed to close on February 3, FIFA is expected to announce three finalists from each section thereafter.
