Member quits Kwara PDP student’s campaign committee
….passes vote of no confidence on the PDP campaign DG’
A member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Student’s campaign committee in Kwara State, Comrade Lukman Oluwadare has quit the committee.
In a letter dated Wednesday March 8, signed and addressed to the Chairman of the Party in the State, Lukman stated that his decision to dump the committee was due to incapacity of its leadership.
The letter reads;
“I am by this letter informing you of my resignation from the PDP students campaign committee. Consequently, I shall no longer participate in the campaign activities of the committee”
“My resignation is as a result of the evident incapacity of the leadership of the committee which makes it practically difficult for it to achieve its main objective. Many members have no trust in the activities of the committee yet we are not allowed to offer our constructive contributions”.
“To say the least, I am disappointed in the DG of the campaign committee of the PDP that picks his brother, albiet incompetent to lead the student’s campaign committee at this time that we are desirous of winning back the State”.
While wishing the party well in the elections, he thanked the Chairman for the opportunity given to him to serve.
