May God’s judgement be on you – Fani-Kayode curses those behind naira scarcity
The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the scarcity of naira notes across Nigeria.
The former minister of aviation took to the micro blogging platform, Twitter on Saturday, March 11 to curse and abuse those at the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN whom he accused for causing hardship and agony.
Fani Kayode said those at the apex bank believe they are superior to the court but should note that God is bigger than them.
He said those people need to remember that power, money, and wealth are for a fleeting moment.
He wrote: “May God’s judgement & curse be upon those at Central Bank who believe that, despite the ruling of the courts, they are above the law & are greater than their creator. Your money, power, properties & wealth are for but a fleeting moment in the sands of time & echoes of eternity.”
A former federal lawmaker, who represented Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani has advised the state governors to take their grievances to the President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, and the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami have nothing to do without the consent of the president.
In a post revealed via Twitter, Sani wrote: “Naira issues; The fact is that Malami and Emefiele can’t do anything without the consent of Buhari. Angry Governors should direct their anger to the right target.”
