Markets in Agaka, Sanni Okin, Adabata to close temporarily in honour of late community leader Kuranga Ajia
Traders in Agaka Market and nearby areas, including Adabata and Sanni Okin along Abdulazeez Attah Road, Ilorin, will temporarily close their shops on Wednesday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am to honour the late Alhaji Yahaya Olayiwola Kuranga Ajia.
The Yoruba and Igbo traders in these areas made the joint decision to pay tribute to the highly respected leader, who was widely regarded as a father figure and symbol of unity within the community.
The late Alhaji Olayiwola Kuranga Ajia is remembered for his exceptional leadership and contributions to community development.
His legacy lives on through his son, Dr. Abdulmumin Yinka Ajia, an Associate Professor at Lincoln University, USA, and Director of its MBA Program, who continues to uphold his father’s values.

Customers are encouraged to make purchases on Tuesday, early Wednesday morning before 7:00 am, or after 10:00 am when normal activities are expected to resume.
