The Ebonyi State Police Command has initiated a manhunt for individuals believed to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Eastern Security Network (IPOB/ESN) following an attack on innocent motorists and commuters at Ezzamgbo Junction in Ohaukwu local government area. During the attack, the assailants set fire to vehicles and motorcycles.

Onovwakpoyeya stated that the police command has dispatched personnel to the scene of the attack to identify and apprehend the culprits. She expressed confidence that the perpetrators would be captured before the end of the day.
