Lockdown: Kawu Modibbo, Olaolu Ali, others donate to Ilorin Emirate

A former gubernatorial aspirant, Ishaq Kawu Modibbo, a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof Oba Abdulraheem — among several other eminent philanthropists — have donated the sum of N100,000 and N200,000 respectively to support the Ilorin Emirate Council to provide pallaitives for residents.

Recall that the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari on Thursday constituted the Emirate Palliative Committee.

As obtained by THE INFORMANT247, other contributors include; Senator Ibrahim Oloriegbe – N2million, Emirate Stakeholders Forum – N1million, Third Estate – N1million.

Alh. Aliyu Kola Belgore Jarman, Engr. Yusuf Olanrewaju Sagaya Zanna, Yakubu Yinus Mustapha NNPC, Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN contribute N500,000 each.

Engr. Yusuf Toyin Asaju NCC, Hassan Funsho Ahmed give N250,000 each while Dr. Alfa Tunde Yusuf Aiyelabegan JKK contribute N200,000.

Ibrahim Toyin Hassan, Dr. Rt. Hon. Ali Ahmad, Ibrahim O. Maruf, Hafsat Ladi Saadu, Talba Ebira donated N100,000 and Yusuf Sulu Gambari – N50,000
