Labour Party senatorial candidate, others killed in Enugu
The Labour Party senatorial candidate, Oyibo Chukwu, was on Wednesday evening killed in Enugu.
According to the source, Mr Chukwu, a barrister, was murdered while on a campaign movement around Agbani in the state, alongside other people in the campaign van.
The Informant247 gathered all the victims were burnt alongside the candidate.
This is coming barely forty-eight hours to the presidential and parliamentary elections, scheduled to hold on Saturday, 25, 2023, where the candidate was seen among the top contenders on the back of Labour presidential candidate Peter Obi’s rising popularity.
