Kylian Mbappe’s mother denies PSG deal

The mother of the French international footballer, Kylian Mbappe has disproved a report in France that the PSG star has concurred to stay at Paris Saint-Germain for another three years, not moving to Real Madrid.

It was gathered from Le Parisien newspaper on Thursday that PSG’s Qatari owners had agreed to pay the French star a salary of 50 million euros ($53 million) a season plus a loyalty bonus of 100 million euros if he does not leave the team.

The report noted that Mbappe was given a two-year contract offer with a third year option.

But the mother of the French World Cup-winning forward, had via a tweet denied the development.

“There is no agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain (or with any other club),” she said.

“Discussions around the future of Kylian are continuing calmly to allow him to make the best choice, respecting all the parties involved,” she added.

Mbappe, 23, has before now always expressed his desire to put on Real Madrid’s jersey one day.

Real Madrid reportedly offered PSG $210.2 million in August but did not get a reply. Mark Ogden said Mbappe was “expected to move to the Bernabeu as a free agent when his PSG contract expires at the end of this season.”
