Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has forwarded Dr. Abdulafeez Abolore’s nomination to the Kwara State House of Assembly for approval and confirmation as a commissioner.
During today’s plenary session, the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Yakubu Salihu Danladi, disclosed this information while reading the governor’s letter.
AbdulRazaq stated that this nomination complies with sections 192, subsections 1 to 5, of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Governor emphasized his adherence to section 14 (1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in proceeding with this nomination.
He directed Abdulafeez Abolore to submit photocopies of his resume in 35 file jackets to the Clerk’s office by the end of the workday on Friday, March 1, 2024, in preparation for the screening scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
