KWASUTH CMD urges professionalism among workers
The Chief Medical Director of the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWASUTH), Dr Bola Ahmed, has urged the health workers in the state to maintain high standards of professionalism In the discharge of their duties
The Chief Medical Director gave the charge during a send-forth program organised by the hospital’s Nursing Department for retired nurses held at the hospital premises earlier in the week.
According to him, “Professionalism is our watchword. Therefore, we are always expected to exhibit it in all our dealings with clients, to sustain standard the health care delivery, we are known us.”
Dr Ahmad also urged other health workers in government service to emulate the good legacies of hard work, commitment and dedication to duties of the retires with prayers that God grants the retires a long life with sound health to enable them to reap the fruits of their labours.
The CMD thereafter enjoined the hospital staff to continually support the present administration, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, to sustain the set delivery standard to Kwarans.
In his goodwill message, the Executive Secretary of the Hospital Management Bureau, Dr AbdulRaheem Malik, represented by the Director of Pharmacist, Pharmacist Mustapha Jimoh, gave kudos to the retirees for their notable marks on the development of the Hospital, urging those still in service, to emulate and build on the legacies of the retirees.

He added that those still in service will continue to tap from their experiences, calling on them always to be ready to give back to society whenever their service is needed.
Earlier, the Head of the Nursing Department, Hajia Nimota Yusuf, appreciated the five retires for sustaining core values and the ethics of guiding the profession while in service.
Hajia Yusuf assured them their “legacy of unwavering commitment and high dedication to duty will be a wake-up call for the rest of us in service. I wish you all a sound, healthy and better life after retirement.” She concluded.”
Among the retirees were Mrs Sulyman Taibat, Mrs Alabi Muibat, Mrs Omosebi Elizabeth, Mrs Oladokun Modupe, and Mrs Adefila Comfort.
