KWASU alumni to hold maiden reunion
The Alumni Association of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete is getting ready to hold its first reunion.
The 3-day event will kick off on November 6 with a novelty football march between Ghalib Chamber and KWASU Alumni at the Kwara State Stadium Complex.
On November 8, a public lecture that will also feature the launching of the maiden Alumni journal will take place at the institution’s mini convocation arena.
On the final day, November 12, an award and dinner night will be held at the Kwara State Banquet hall, opposite Government House in Ilorin.
The aim of the reunion with the theme; “Home Coming,” according to the organizers, is to connect old students of the institution.
The event will be hosted by the Vice-Chancellor of the Institution, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN, and the Alumni National President, Mr. Aliyu AbdulKadir Uthman with Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN as the Honouree.
