Kwara youth dialogue 2025 targets unity, political balance ahead 2027

Preparations are in top gear for the Kwara Central–Kwara North Youth Dialogue 2025, an event designed to address the agitation for power shift ahead of the 2027 general elections while promoting unity among the state’s senatorial districts.

Scheduled for September 20, 2025, the dialogue is the first of its kind and is expected to draw wide participation from Kwarans at home and in the diaspora. Organisers say the forum will provide young people an opportunity to deliberate on sustaining the long-standing relationship among Kwara Central, Kwara North, and Kwara South.

Renowned architect and Talba of Lafiagi Emirate, Arc. Salihu Yamanda Sulaiman, will lead conversations at the event. Sulaiman, a respected voice in governance and community development, has played key roles across the public and private sectors of Nigeria’s economy.

According to the organisers, the dialogue will serve as a platform to exchange ideas on equitable governance, political inclusion, and youth participation in shaping Kwara’s future.
