Kwara youth commissioner urges dedication, discipline among corps members

The Kwara State Commissioner for Youth Development, Amb. Ndanusa Usman Shehu has urged corps members to demonstrate exceptional dedication, discipline, and punctuality in their responsibilities.

Speaking during a meeting held in the conference room of the Ministry in Ilorin, the commissioner stressed that corps members should act as role models and ambassadors of positive change, particularly within a Ministry that is central to youth development and empowerment.

He said, “The NYSC is a vital platform that not only promotes national unity but also equips young Nigerians with valuable leadership skills and work ethics. I encourage you all to be punctual, committed, and take your duties and assignments seriously.”

The Commissioner, while commending the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his dedication to ensuring that corps members in the State receive appropriate support during their service, encouraged the youth to view their service year as a valuable opportunity to gain practical skills and build lasting professional networks that will benefit their future careers.
