Kwara United secure first away win of the season

Kwara United have secured their first away win of the NPFL 2024/2025 season after defeating Nasarawa United 1-0 on Sunday in the match day eleven clash.

Emmanuel Ogbole’s strike in the stroke of the half time was the difference in the tightly contested game played at the Lafia City Stadium.

Ogbole who formerly played for Nasarawa United teamed up with Kwara United last season and recently earned a call up to the Super Eagles team B camp where he joined the Harmony boys for the Sunday’s clash.

Long coming was the away win for the Harmony boys who had in October secured a back to back away draw with Kano Pillars and Elkanemi Warriors.

The victory is expected to lift the team on the log and also boost their resolve going into the week 12 encounter against Plateau United in Ilorin.
