Just In:Kwara United arrives in Ghana for CAF Confederation Showdown with Asante Kotoko

Kwara United has safely landed in Accra, Ghana, at about 6:50 PM(Nigerian time) ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup first Preliminary Round clash against Asante Kotoko.

According to the team’s Media Officer, Ayodeji Ismail, the last batch of the travelling contingent includes 23 players and officials.

Earlier in the day, an advance party departed the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at about 7:05 a.m. on Friday morning for Accra.

The delegation includes, Mallam Bola Magaji – Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bashir Badawiy, Kwara United General Manager, Timothy Hemman – NFF Official, Head Coach Tunde Sanni, Goalkeeper trainer, Dele Aiyenugba. Abdullahi Musa, Rotimi Oyinloye ;team Doctor and Hussain Garuba , the team Curator.

Kwara United will kick off their CAF Confederation Cup campaign away to Asante Kotoko on Sunday at 4:00 p.m(Nigerian time) at the Accra Sports Stadium.
