Kwara to host Best of Nollywood Awards 2024

Kwara State has been granted the hosting rights for the 2024 edition of the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON).

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq made the announcement on his X (formerly Twitter) page, expressing his joy at this major achievement.

The hosting rights were officially received on Thursday at the Sugar Factory Film Studio in Ilorin, a trendy new hub for the state’s growing film industry.

The 16th edition of the awards ceremony, scheduled for November, is set to attract over 500 artists, celebrities, influencers, and key figures from the entertainment industry.

Governor AbdulRazaq shared the news, stating, “I’m delighted to announce that Kwara State has been granted the hosting rights for the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON) 2024.”

This gathering is expected to spotlight the state on a national stage and offer a significant boost to its local economy.

Governor AbdulRazaq emphasized the strategic importance of this achievement, sharing, “Like I have always mentioned, Kwara is open for collaboration and opportunities that will yield shared prosperity and a significant boost to our economy.”

The Best of Nollywood Awards is one of the most anticipated events in Nigeria’s entertainment calendar, celebrating outstanding achievements in the Nollywood industry.
