Kwara to hold 2-day inter-ministerial briefing on govt policies

The Kwara State Government has announced that it will host a two-day Inter-ministerial Press briefing between January 13th and 14th, 2025, updating the public on the accomplishments of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq across various sectors, saying the quarterly event reflects the administration’s dedication to transparent and accountable governance.

According to a statement signed today by the State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Bolanle Olukoju and issued by the Ministry Press Secretary, Abeeb Oredunni, the briefing will feature Commissioners, Heads of Departments, and Agencies providing a comprehensive review of their ministerial activities over the last quarter of 2024.

The statement reads, “The AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration has no doubt recorded significant milestones across all sectors. While these accomplishments have been highlighted in various forums, this briefing will present opportunities for Commissioners and Heads of Agencies to address the press collectively, providing a comprehensive review of their activities over the last quarter of 2024 and highlighting the significant milestones achieved across all sectors. The event will also be streamed live on the Kwara State Government’s social media platforms.

“The State Government aims to keep the public well-informed about its actions, ensuring openness and responsibility.’’ The statement reads.

“We urge the public to follow the live stream and actively engage in this informative session, as this administration remains committed to fostering dialogue and keeping the public informed about its activities to ensure transparency and accountability.” The statement added.
