Kwara South: Bode-Deway inaugurates campaign council ahead of 2023

… merges structures, includes APC, PDP members

A Senatorial aspirant from Kwara South, Otunba Olabode popularly known as Bode-Deway has inaugurated his campaign council led by Prince Bashir Madandola.

Deway inaugurated the committee on Saturday in Omu-Aran, Kwara State, during the merging of his old structures led by Chief Akinola Dahunsi from Omu-Aran.

Comr. Yinka Dallas, former chairman of Ekiti Local Council was also named the Deputy Director General of the group which was merged with the newly inaugurated Olabode Oyedepo campaign council.

Dewey, who joined the harmonisation ceremony virtually, commended the dedication and unflinching support of both groups to its founding values and vision, stressing that God’s willing, the now expanded star studded team will coast home to victory both at the primaries and general elections.

He also expressed willingness to partner and collaborate with the other aspirants when he eventually emerges in the interest of taking Kwara South to the next level.

Reacting to rationale behind his campaign council cutting party divide, Deway said, “Political party membership must never be allowed to create a wedge amongst like minds, our priority is Kwara South, whoever shares the vision and mission of a developed, economical and infrastructural viability which is industrialised is welcome to our team.

“What we’re trying to do is building a mass movement of Kwara Southerners who share the same ideological vision for the Senatorial district, my campaign council takes care of all divides, ranging from political, ethnic, religious, social status among others.”

Speaking on behalf of the old group Engr. Ajiboye a PDP ward secretary from Oke-Ero commended Deway for his consistency and commitment to uplifting and bringing succour to the entirety of Kwara South indigene and residents alike.

He assured him of the continued support of the group, adding that they’ve resolved to work more assiduously towards the actualisation of the group goals.

Speaking on behalf of the Campaign council, Comr. Yinka Dallas pleaded for unity within the group, stressing the task ahead is a tedious and challenging one, but with the caliber, contact, goodwill and experience of members of the campaign council, then the aspiration are one to beat.

Meanwhile, the committee of Deway friends’ resident across Europe, America, Asia and the Carribean has pledged to finance his primaries 100%.

This was disclosed by Mr. Stanley Adegoke who resides in Los Angeles, affirming that in support of the aspiration of De-way, his friends scattered across the glass be are putting finishing touches to the planning for the donation of several developmental projects as a form of support for the aspiration of Deway’s Senatorial aspiration.
