Kwara schools charged to encourage forestation
Kwara State Commissioner of Environment, Remilekun Banigbe has emphasised the need to encourage students to develop their interest in forestation, noting that schools across the state should encourage the planting of seedlings as pet projects.
The Commissioner stated this while inspecting the Agba Flower Garden, GRA, in Ilorin on Wednesday.
Banigbe, while going around the premises instructed the team to embark on the immediate weeding of the surroundings as well as the fence area.
