Members of the Kwara Progressive Media Organization, KPMO has announced a new executives that will pilot the affairs of the association for the next two years.
Announcing the new executives at a press briefing on Friday in Ilorin, the Chairman of the Transition committee of KPMO, Lukman Abdulquadri Olanrewaju, said the new executives emerged from a diligent process.
He said .”These individuals have been chosen through a transparent and democratic process, reflective of our commitment to upholding the values of KPMO. We believe they will carry the torch of our organization with diligence and integrity.
The new excos include, Convener, Beki Moshood Abdulquadri; Gen. Secretary, Alabi Wanchiko Oluseun; Director of Finance, Ashaolu Samuel Funmilayo; Director of Contact and Mobilization, Adeleke Adebayo; Welfare Director, Usman Hassanat Nasikat
and Publicity Secretary, Ibrahim Tunde Ajadi
The Transition committee chair implores the new leadership “to embrace the vision and integrity that KPMO stands for.
He stressed that their role is crucial in continuing the mission of the organisation in enlightening the public about the people-friendly policies of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and fostering unity between the people and the government.
Olanrewaju added that the new executives were formed based on the six federal constituencies in the state.
He further commended Governor Abdulrazaq for appointing two of their Former Executive Usman Yunusa Lade and Musa Nafisat Buge to the State Executive Council.
While Lade was appointed as Commissioner for Water Resources and Supervising Commissioner for Youth, Nafisat Buge is also one of the newly nominated commissioners, waiting to pick up her portfolio.
Speaking on behalf of the new excos, Adeleke Adebayo Director of contact and mobilization pledged that the new leadership will try their best to represent and take KPMO to a greater height.
Amongst other things, KPMO, which was founded in 2021 is committed to progressive and governance in the state.
