The Kwara State Government has warned residents against erecting buildings without obtaining the necessary Permits, restating its deal with any erring prospective developer.
The Acting General Manager of Kwara State Physical Planning Authority (KPPA) said this during a maiden meeting with the management and staff of the agency in Ilorin.
He stressed the need for the agency to work assiduously in order to curb the menace of bad planning in the State.
Issa disclosed that records have shown that the majority of flood disasters experienced in recent times, were man-made especially building without recourse to planning authority for approval by the government.
