Kwara govt to prosecute violators of environmental law as sanitation holds Saturday – The Informant247
The Kwara State modified monthly environmental sanitation will hold on Saturday 24, with restrictions on human and vehicular movements between 7 am and 9 am.
Ministry of Environment Press Secretary, Okanlawon Taiwo, in a statement, enjoined Kwara residents to fully participate in the sanitation exercise by cleaning their residential and business environments.
He added that waste management trucks will be on the street for waste collection and disposal.
“Violators of Environmental Laws during the sanitation exercise would be tried and sanctioned by Mobile Courts stationed at designated points across the State,” he said.
