Kwara govt inaugurates new governing board for CAILS
The Kwara State Government has inaugurated the six-member Governing Board of the College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS) in Ilorin on Wednesday.
During the ceremony held in the Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mamman Jibril Saba, presented appointment letters to the new board members and emphasized the importance of collaboration with the college’s management.
Prof. Saba congratulated the appointees, urging them to be dedicated and innovative in their mission to transform CAILS into a leading institution in its field.
He said, “Be dedicated and let your contributions reflect in the administration of the college through innovation, hard work, and a commitment to excellence.”
Dr. (Mrs.) Anu Idowu, the Director of Economic Affairs, also addressed the board members, encouraging them to perform their duties with diligence and adhere to public service standards.
Board Chairman Dr. Abdulkadir Sambaki assured attendees of the board’s commitment to overcoming the institution’s challenges and enhancing its performance. He extended gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) for the opportunity to serve, promising to uphold the trust placed in them.
The newly inaugurated board includes Dr. Abdulkadir Sambaki (Chairman), Yahaya Abdulrasaq Ayinde, Hawa Ahmed Lare, Maman Khadijat.
