Kwara Govt embarks on perimeter fencing of NYSC Orientation Camp

Kwara Government has started the construction of perimeter fence at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp, Yikpata, in Edu Local Government Area of the state.

Inspecting the first phase of the project, the State Coordinator of NYSC in Kwara, Mrs. Francisca Olaleye, expressed her satisfaction on the progress of work done so far.
She applauded Gov. AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq for being NYSC-friendly and appreciated him for the support and his positive posture towards the further development of the scheme in the state.
The Coordinator said that the lack of perimeter fencing has been a major challenge to maintaining effective security apparatus on the camp.
Olaleye further disclosed that the 2022 Batch C Stream II Orientation Course officially opened on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, with about 1,600 prospective corps members expected. (NAN)
