Kwara govt commences equipment of state-owned hospitals with solar lights to address epileptic power supply
Kwara State Government, while reiterating its commitment of Governor AbdulRahaman to ensuring that state hospitals work optimally to save lives for the love of humanity, said it had commenced the equipment of hospitals with solar lights to address prevailing epileptic power supply.
The Executive Secretary of Kwara Hospital Management Board, Dr Abdulraheem Malik, disclosed this on Wednesday when featuring on Kwara State Television’s popular programme, “Network Kwara.”
According to him, Kwara State Hospital Management Board, an agency saddled with the responsibility of managing the operations of the 46 secondary care hospitals across the State, has organised training and retraining of workers in those areas to enhance better hospital services.
Dr Malik also seized the opportunity to inform the public that these hospitals have been provided with modern and relevant machines to provide quality health delivery to the people.
While commending Government efforts at ensuring quality health services to the people, he disclosed that “SERVICOM has been put in place at the hospitals to handle patients complaints even from the comfort of their homes. The government has embarked on a complete renovation of the state hospitals, and work is currently ongoing in those facilities. Malik concluded.
