Kwara govt calls for partnership in production of soybean, cassava
In a bid to boost local farm production, the Kwara State, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, has called for a partnership with communities, commercial farms, and schools having contiguous cleared land of over 10 hectares in the production of soybeans, cassava, and sorghum.
According to a statement from the ministry by its press secretary, the initiative was aimed at boosting agricultural productivity, enhancing food security, and fostering economic development across the state.

The statement furthered that interested stakeholders are urged to take advantage of the opportunity to collaborate with the government in advancing large-scale agricultural production while setting a deadline for Monday, February 3rd, 2025.
The statement added that further inquiries and partnership details should be directed to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development before the deadline.
