Kwara govt amends error in COVID-19 results, says total now 30

The Kwara State Government says it committed an error in announcing confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state.

It said that the total number of new cases in state on Saturday was 6 and not the 7 that was earlier reported.

The government, on it Twitter handle, said that a confirmed case was wrongfully identified as coming from Kwara State by the NCDC but was corrected and deducted from the number of confirmed cases of the virus in the state.

With the correction, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kwara is now 30, The INFORMANT247 reports.
