Kwara govt: 26 have been tested for coronavirus

The Kwara State Government has revealed that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control – NCDC has tested 26 people in the state for novel coronavirus.

In a graph posted on the twitter page of the state government, of the 26 tests done so far, 2 cases have been confirmed positive, 15 came out negative while the result of 9 is still pending as at 12:50pm, April 10.

Recall that the government said the state’s rapid response team (RRT) has identified — and begin tracing of — at least 75 persons who have had contact with persons who tested positive for COVID-19 in Kwara.

Nigeria has recorded 14 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, bringing the number of infections in the country to 288.
