Kwara Gov. appoints new Special Assistant on Religious Affairs
Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on Monday announced the appointment of Rev. Timothy Akangbe as his new Special Assistant on Religious Affairs (Christianity).
According to a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Akangbe replaces Rev. Samuel Adedayo, who died in November 2021.
“The new official, a native of Apado in Ilorin East local government, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies and a Master’s Degree in Christian Studies from the University of Ibadan and University of Ilorin respectively.
“A prominent member of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the appointee has served as a clergyman and teacher at various levels,” the statement read. (NAN)
