Kwara: APC suspends Agric commissioner, others
The All Progressives Congress in the Ora ward, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, has suspended the State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Adenike Oshatimehin-Afolabi.
The decision was contained in a resolution signed by Chairman, Taofeeq Bolajoki Kareem; vice chairman, Ezekiel Owolabi; women leader, Mrs Mariam Moses; and other executive members and stakeholders, a copy of which was obtained by our correspondent on Saturday.
Other suspended partymen include, Dr Ade Afolabi, Mr Segun Ogunsola, and Mr Yinusa Afolayan.
The party accused the embattled commissioner and others of taking part in “anti-party activities detrimental to the progress and co-existence of the party members in Ora ward in particular, Ifelodun LGA and State”.
Recall that there have been infighting between factions loyal to the governor and the party hierarchy in the state.
