Crisis in Kwara APC deepens as Magaji Ngeri ward, on Saturday, sworn in executives at the ward Secretariat in Aago Market, Ilorin the state capital.
It would be recalled that the APC members at Magaji Ngeri ward have announced Muritala Olaitan Kokorin as the ward Chairman.
Following the consensus and ward congress that was conducted at the Magaji compound Surulere, Ilorin, the APC members at Magaji Ngeri ward A has voted for Muritala Kokorin, others and declared him as the legitimate ward Chairman.
While speaking at the swearing-in program, Kororin appreciated all the people of Magaji Ngeri for their immense support during the ward congress and after.
Also, the ward Chairman declared his support for the Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, warning those patronizing themselves as executives to desist from such act.
He stated that APC in Magaji Ngeri ward is in full support of the governor’s re-election bid in the forthcoming election in 2023.
He, therefore, urged party members to be calm and avoid issues that may cause disunity in the Kwara APC.
