Kogi House of Assembly set on fire

The Kogi State House of Assembly has reportedly caught fire.

The circumstance that triggered the fire outbreak has not been ascertained at the time of producing this report on Monday morning.

Report has it that the assembly gallery was completely burnt down.

The fire outbreak began at about 8 am on Monday.

Prince Mathew Kolawole, the Speaker of the House, while addressing newsmen at the assembly complex said the fire incident would be investigated by the security agencies.

He, however, noted that inferno would not be a reason for the legislative house not to preform its duty as the resolution of the house on Dangote Cement Plc stands.
