Kogi guber poll: INEC warns party agents against disruption of results collation

Dr Gabriel Longpet, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Resident Electoral Commissioner in charge of Kogi State, has warned party agents not to disrupt the collation of results under any guise.

Longpet, while addressing stakeholders before the commencement of the collation exercise at the INEC office in Lokoja, said they were following laid down rules and regulations in the conduct of the exercise.

He said: “There are procedures and laws, I would not anticipate any disruptions by stakeholders, note your concerns and they will be addressed at the end of the exercise.”
