The remaining three (3) farmers, who were recently kidnapped in Iseyin, Oyo State, have regained their freedom.
It was gathered that four farmers were kidnapped at a farm settlement two weeks ago.
The Informant247 earlier reported that one of the farmers was killed by the kidnappers.
It was, however, also gathered that the remaining three victims of kidnap have regained their freedom.
Report has it that they regained their freedom after a sum of N10m was allegedly paid by the families.
It was revealed on Monday that the money was paid to the abductors through their approved mode of transaction to avoid further death of kidnapped victims.
Mr. Rasheed Adepoju, who’s the Chairman of the farm settlement, confirmed the development to newsmen.
Adepoju said, “While we mourn the death of one of the victims that met his untimely death at the hands of the abductors, we want to thank God that the rest are back home and are going to be with their families.
”We shall talk more about this as time goes, this is too shocking.”
