Kano Gov’t confirms promotion of 117 senior civil servants

The government of Kano State has confirmed the upliftment of 117 senior officers.

The promotion of the police officers cut across various grade levels and cadres in the state civil service.

Alhaji Uba Karaye, the Chairman, State Civil Service Commission, made this revelation during the first sitting of the Commission for 2023, Thursday in Kano.

The chairman said that the commission had confirmed the sack of 2 officers from the service for indiscipline and misconduct.

The chairman further implored staff of the commission to always obey the rules and regulations that guide the public service while performing their official roles.

He commended the government of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for the unrelenting support and cooperation to the commission.
