Just In: Professor Abubakar resigns as NUC boss, to resume lecturing at BUK

Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission has announced his voluntary resignation.

Rasheed confirmed his resignation in an interaction to the correspondent of PUNCH on Monday

He noted that he would be returning to the Bayero University Kano to continue his job as a lecturer.

The academia was appointed as the NUC boss seven years ago during the tenure of the erstwhile minister of education, Adamu Adamu.
