JUST IN: Hoodlums attack Osun governor’s campaign vehicle, injure journalists

Suspected political thugs and hoodlums on Monday, attacked the campaign train of the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.

It was gathered that the thugs also attacked the bus of the Correspondent Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) ,which was in the convoy of the governor.

The attack of the Osun NUJ correspondent chapel bus took place at Arapajo area of Gbongan and the hoodlums which attacked the governor’s campaign train also blocked all passing vehicles and

The hoodlums, according to eyewitnesses were armed with axes, pots, stones and sticks.

It was learnt that about ten other vehicles were destroyed.

“When the NUJ correspondent chapel bus was hit, some occupants of the bus sustained varying degrees of injuries,” eyewitnesses recounted.
