Iwobi to stay out of weeks as injury timeline confirmed

The timeline for Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Everton FC midfielder Alex Iwobi’s Injury has been confirmed

Iwobi fell awkwardly after a challenge from defender Tyrell Malacia early in the second half of Everton’s 3-1 FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester United on Friday

The Nigeria international was replaced by Abdoulaye Doucoure in the 51st minute after being taken off on a stretcher where he was seen apparently sobbing.

Having undergone a scan test on Saturday, the result of the scan released revealed Iwobi will be out for 3 weeks and could return in the game against his former club Arsenal.

This represent a huge blow for Lampard’s Everton in the wake of their poor form
