Inuwa Yahaya, the Gombe State Governor, has emerged as the new chairman of the Northern State Governors Forum (NSGF), succeeding the outgoing governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong.
The position was held for more than three years by Simon Lalong, who just completed his term of office.
However, Yahaya, who won his re-election bid in the last election to govern Gombe State for a second term in the 2023 general election, was appointed the new chairman of the Northern State Governors Forum (NSGF).
