Insecurity: Nigerian Police arrest suspected Informants In Katsina

The Nigerian Police has arrested two men, identified as Sa’adu Haruna and Musa Ibrahim, suspected to be informants to the armed group terrorising communities in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State.

This follows by the recent attacks made by armed groups and terrorists on some communities and a recent attack by the armed group which led to the killing of three persons and abduction of four others in Kastina lately.

According to the Police, the two men were heard discussing at a tea joint that some bandits would attack the village on December 27, 2020, and kidnap one Alhaji Dalhatu Namahangi.

The sources added that true to their discussion, an armed group attacked the town on that day and abducted Alhaji Namahangi, while his whereabouts remained unknown as of the time of filing this report.

The suspected informants are currently at the Kastina State Police Command.
