Imam-Fulani Abdul-Lateef elected as new chairman of Ilorin NBA Young Lawyers Forum

The Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ilorin Branch, has elected new officials to steer the affairs of the Forum following the end of the Salman Abdulafeez Olanrewaju–led administration.
In a statement issued on November 26, 2025, by the Secretary of the NBA Ilorin Branch, Mr. O. D. Jimoh, the Bar congratulated Mr. Imam-Fulani Abdul-Lateef, who emerged as Chairman, along with other newly elected executives.
Mr. Jimoh also conveyed the goodwill message of the NBA Ilorin Branch Chairman, Mr. S. M. H. Kosemani, who, on behalf of the entire Ilorin Bar, felicitated with the new YLF leadership and urged them to work as a united team to achieve meaningful progress.
Other elected officers include Temitope Rebecca Babalola (Vice Chairperson), S. S. Mohammed (Secretary), Abdulrazaq Mubashir Olugbon (Assistant Secretary), and Zeenat Zakari (Welfare Officer).
The inauguration of the new executives took place on November 28, 2025, during the NBA Ilorin Branch monthly meeting presided over by Mr. Kosemani.
At the meeting, the appointments of Abdulrasheed Ishaq Olorundare as Public Relations Officer and Rabiat Yunusa Mohammed as Treasurer were ratified.
Administering the oath of office, the NBA Chairman officially inaugurated Mr. Abdul-Lateef and other executive members of the Forum.
In his post-inauguration remarks, the new Chairman expressed gratitude to the NBA leadership, members of the Forum, and stakeholders, pledging to uphold the trust reposed in him.
