I’m proud APC said I have done well – Gov. Wike
The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has revealed his happiness over an award given to him by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said he’s proud that the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, believes that he (Wike) has done very well.
Governor Wike made this revelation in Port Harcourt, the capital of the State on Monday at a dinner/reception organized to celebrate the ‘Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery’ conferred on him by the President.
“So I thank all of you and I dedicate this Award to God Almighty and to all of you who prayed for us to achieve what we have achieved. The Award is not to me, it is to all of you. I feel proud to say if the ruling party can say you have done well, who is that person? Let them come and campaign here,” he said.
Wike also revealed that he would make use of his award to campaign in the forthcoming general elections, reaffirming that no other political party will be able to come and campaign in Rivers State.
