Third wave: Kwara records 29 COVID-19 cases in 3 days

Ilorin South worst-hit as COVID-19 cases spread to 10 LGs in Kwara

The Kwara State Government has released the list of hotspots with the highest numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state.

The State Ministry of Health released the statistics while providing updates on the state’s COVID-19 cases.

As of August 10, the data released revealed Ilorin South Local Government Area as heading the list with 376 cases, followed closely by Ilorin West Local Government with 343 cases, and Ilorin East rounds the top three with 91 cases.

Ifelodun with 15 confirmed cases, Asa – 14, Offa – 17, Edu – 4, Oke ero -2, Moro – 2, Irepodun – 1.

Meanwhile, the state recorded a total of 8 new confirmed cases on Monday. However, 516 patients have been discharged so far.
