I will decide my fate with Kwara United in few weeks -Coach Dogo

Kwara United Technical Adviser, Coach Kabiru Dogo has stated that he will reveal his next move in the coming days.

Dogo made the disclosure while responding to questions from Journalists on Sunday after their 4-0 victory over Heartland FC in the final league game.

Dogo, who joined Kwara United in 2023,although noted that he still has a contract with the team but gave a hint that the public should be expecting a decision from him very soon.

“Although, I have a contract with them, but despite that in the next few weeks,I will determine my next move. You will hear from me very soon” he said.

While noting that the Kwara United is due to win the Nigeria Premier League in view of its status, Dogo insisted that there must be a strategic approach to get things right.

He added that the struggling form of the team in the last two seasons and how they have had to fight to survive relegation should have provided ample hindsight for a better performance in the future.

“We should be able to learn a lesson from the last two seasons that has been a very tough season for us- i will be disappointed again if the club still struggles next season again-it would mean we have not learned our lesson like that.

He added “Now, we are going for a break. The team will go and rest. The next thing will be decided by the owner of the team-but for me, for i believe that in a few weeks I will decide my fate.

It was a fight till the last day for Kwara United in an effort to maintain their NPFL status. The team finished 13th on the log 51 points.
