I was interrogated for 6 hours, it’s tough — Fani-Kayode reveals experience in DSS office
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to his invitation by the Department of State Services, DSS, on Monday.
While recounting his experience in the office of the DSS, the minister of aviation said he had a tough encounter.
He made this revelation in a post made through his Facebook account on Tuesday.
He said he was interrogated by the secret police for 6 hours.
He added that he was released on bail and was required to reappear on Wednesday.
“It was quite an experience, and even though it was tough, the panel that interrogated me were polite and professional.
“I was granted bail and I shall return there on Wednesday,” he stated.
He thanked the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu and others for their show of solidarity, saying: “I was humbled and overwhelmed by this show of solidarity.
“I got home safely after a six hour interrogation and ordeal.”
The DSS summoned Fani-Kayode, for alleging that there’s an underground attempt to stage a coup.
“There are reports that Atiku had a secret meeting with serving military Generals in Abuja on Thursday.
“If true, it is troubling and has implications. What was the purpose? Why would a presidential candidate be having secret meetings with soldiers 14 days before an election?
“Is this meeting part of the wider agenda to disrupt the elections, destabilise the country, set us on fire, incite chaos and violence, provoke a coup d’etat and establish a new and unconstitional order in our beloved country under the auspices of an ING?” Fani-Kayode’s post read in part.
The former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, was set free from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) yesterday, Monday February 13, 2023.
The former minister was reportedly released after 6 hours of interrogation.
