I refused N150m, N80m car gift to leave Atiku for Tinubu – Popular Arewa singer
The popular Kannywood singer, Naziru Ahmad professionally known as Sarkin Waka, has said he rejected the offer of N150 million and a vehicle valued at 80 million to withdraw his support for the presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
The Informant247 understands that the northern singer was one of those supporting the Wazirin Adamawa.
He said he declined the offer to dump the presidential candidate because he believed Atiku will be better than others.
He said Atiku is healthier than the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
He said, “I am more concerned about what the country needs than what I need. I was offered N150 million and N80 million car to to leave Atiku for another candidate but I declined. I refused because I know Atiku will be a better leader in this country.
“How can I support Tinubu’s candidacy when I know he is sick? Our religion teaches us to choose a healthy leader, because it is part of the virtue of choosing a leader.”
