I challenge my party, PDP to suspend me, they know what I’ll do – Wike

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has challenged the National Executive Committee of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party to suspend him from the party.

This came following talks from within the PDP that no individual should consider himself bigger than the party, and that whoever wrong the party can be suspended.

The former state minister for education has remained outspoken against some party leaders and actions and has called for the resignation of Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of the party.

While addressing journalists during a live media chat in Port Harcourt, the capital of his state, on Friday, Governor Wike said, “I beg them today, they shouldn’t waste time. They should call a NEC meeting and say the Governor of Rivers State, you’re hereby suspended from the party.

“Anything you see you take. They know what I will do.

“Nobody has the monopoly of making problems.”
